Wie wird der Zusammenhang von Ökonomie und Politik in China diskutiert? Welche Grundlage hat die Rede von den "Handlungszwängen", etwa durch ökonomische Interessen, in der Politik? Leben wir im Westen in Postdemokratien, in denen die Märkte die Steuerungs- und Gestaltungsmacht an sich gezogen haben? Welche Rolle nimmt die Kultur ein?
Twitter-Beteiligung (#MapDem) ist auch vorgesehen. Zusätzlich zu dem in China gesperrten Twitter wird Weibo genutzt.
Da ich in München bin, hätte ich zu dem Theater gehen können, in dem sich das Publikum versammelte, um dem Austausch von Ideen zum Thema zu folgen. Aber da ich derart viel davon gelesen hatte, daß man mit Twitter sogar Konferenzen im Bereich der ernsthaften und exakten Wissenschaften wie zum Beispiel der der Physik folgen kann, entschied ich mich, das Experiment durchzuführen und von zu Hause aus der Veranstaltung zu folgen, mit eingeschaltetem Rechner, der gut eingestellt ist auf den Empfang der von Twitter kommenden Signale Mit der Kennzeichnung #MapDem (oder #mapdem - nebenbei lernte ich, daß Groß-Klein-Schreibung hier keine Rolle spielt).
Kurios, daß in dem Moment, in dem ich mich mit https://twitter.com verband, via elektronischer Post bei mir diese Nachricht eintraf: Heinrich Allers, Viel Zeit ist vergangen, seitdem wir Dich hier sahen!
Ich fürchtete, daß alle paar Sekunden Twitter-Nachrichten von #mapdem bei mir einträfen; aber es war nicht so schlimm, sie kamen nur alle paar Minuten. Schade, daß ich das Protokoll der Nachrichten nicht gleich zum Schluß der Veranstaltung abgespeichert hatte, denn dann hätte man deutlich die Zahl der Minuten sehen können, die den Abstand zwischen zwei Twitter-Nachrichten bildeten. (Dadurch, daß ich sie erst Stunden später speicherte, sieht man das jetzt nicht im Protokoll).

Hier folgt im Textformat all das, was von #mapdem kam. In der ersten Zeile jeder Nachricht kommt die Zahl der Stunden, die seit der Absendung vergangen sind, oder der Tag und der Monat ('ene' hier = Januar).; es folgt der Absender, dem das @-Zeichen vorangeht; anschließend kommt der Inhalt der Nachricht (nie mit mehr als 140 Zeichen, wie man weiß):
